My router is set up so that I have reserved IP addresses from my DHCP for my Mac and my Linux box, so the IPs are not changing. I have tried searching the net and forums and they all seem to be something different than what I am doing.
I am not very knowledgeable about networking so I am hoping someone can help. When I try to connect from an outside network from Mac to Linux it just keeps trying to connect infinitely and I have to kill the app. I have NoMachine working fine within my local network. I want to use my Mac (macbook air) to remote login to my linux PC workstation that is on my home network.
